My CICC Experience

By Alfred Francisco

Continued...

On weekends, we don't just stay in our rooms at YKC, but we go out and explore the other interesting places in Japan. Museums, Temples, hi-tech malls, and of course we couldn't spare Tokyo Disneyland.

Alfred, posing before the Mickey Mouse Revue hall and the Cinderella castle.

On a very clear weather, we can also see Mt. Fuji from Yokohama or Tokyo.

No folks, this is not New York, this place is called Daiba

My Japan trip was an experience I wouldn't forget. It was the time I learned a lot of things about a country and its people. And not only that, my knowledge in I.T. increased more. And maybe the most important experience was, I met people of different cultures, races; and a big realization, that I can blend well with all of them.

So, to you reader of this column, I encourage you to try this opportunity the Japanese government is offering to developing countries like the Philippines. For you will gain a lot and lose nothing.
