In our class, we were provided with books about the lessons, and at the same time, we have the option to look at the Intranet where the electronic version of our book can be viewed. Here is where we also check our email during breaks. After class, usually around 5:00pm, most of us go to other places, like the Akihabara Electronic Town, and shopping malls like the HMV. Akihabara is a very interesting place. There are lots of tourists and locals as well, shopping for their electronic needs. Duty-free shops allow tourists to shop and avoid the 5% tax imposed, as long as the minimum purchase is Y10000. All you need to show is your passport. There are lots of places to go to, like the Tokyo tower which is very near to CICC. After the training,
there was a ceremony and the certificates were given to us. Eating of
sushi and other Japanaese foods, drinking of wine, juice and sake, and
a lot of picture taking spiced-up the ceremony. Shouting "kampai"
was of course done before we begin every party.
