1. Who may join?
   Any IT professional, or any company involved in IT-related activities or is a user of IT.
   
2. What is an IT Professional?
   A person engaged primarily in IT-related work for an IT supplier, telecommunication vendor, user or government organization. He/she must be employed by the organization on a full-time/part-time basis, either as permanent or direct contract staff, working in the local organization or stationed overseas. The work of the person may include the following:

1. the development, distribution, implementation, support and operation of telecommunication, computer
2. the provision of information services to end-user;
3. the dissemination of IT knowledge and skills; or
4. the management of the above processes.

Not included: Data entry clerks and data encoders

3. What are the types of membership?
   1. Individual membership - granted to persons of good moral character who qualifies as specified above.
   2. Corporate membership - granted to corporations, partnerships and associations who qualify as specified above. The corporate member is represented by one or more persons, provided that the representative(s) designated possess the qualifications of an individual member.
      
      
4. What are the benefits of an Individual Member?
   1. Professional Development - half-day conferences are held by PCS and all Individual members may join these conferences at a subsidized rate.
   2. Leadership Development - chairmanship of committees are available to those who are willing to serve.
   3. Networking - meeting other PCS members expands the individual's circle of influence.
   4. Discounts to major conferences - further professional development from PCS-sponsored events and conferences.
   5. Monthly Membership Meetings - individual members may attend the monthly membership meetings at a subsidized rate.

   5. Monthly Membership Meetings - representatives are entitled to attend the monthly membership meetings for free.
   6. Website Directory List - company/association name is listed in the website and links are made available to companies / associations with URLs.
