President's Message

Your new set of Officers and Board Members were inducted into office last July 2, after the IT Congress, amid a lot of fanfare.

Your new Board has been meeting and planning since our election last April. Now it's time to roll up our sleeves and set our plans into motion!

I had shared highlights of our plans for the year in my inaugural address. For the full text, please click on the link.

We have quite a lot to do in the coming year! We need your help to actualize our plans. I had spoken to quite a few of you who were delegates at the IT Congress and was quite overwhelmed by the offers of active support!

All our projects are carried out through committees headed by a Director-in-Charge and a Committee Chairperson, as follows. A few Committee Chairpeople had already volunteered. We are looking for more Committee Chairpeople and Members.

Do please reply directly to my email address if you would like to actively participate in our activities this year, perhaps selecting your preferred committee. Committee descriptions may be found on our website (please use the dropdown navigation under PCS>> Committees). Or you may just opt to offer your participation regardless of committee, in which case we will find a committee which will benefit most from your participation.

As I mentioned in my inaugural address, "For all of us, what lies ahead
Is the opportunity of achievement, of making a contribution to the IT industry, as well as gaining or honing skills that add value to ourselves... I can offer anyone who would like to make a difference a lot of work in the coming year, a year of challenges and difficulties and possibly great achievement."
