CICC
The Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC) was
founded on June 1, 1983, under the cooperation of Japanese Government agency
(Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and enterprises related to computerization.
The purpose of the CICC foundation is to implement cooperation activities
for promoting computerization in developing countries. To upgrade the skill
level of information technology for the computer personnel in developing countries,
CICC has offered computer training courses as of one of its core activities
since its establishment.
Training Courses
Open Source Software Web Master Course (OSW)
This course is designed to train system engineers (system analyst/system designer)
who will be in charge of network/internet systems. The course introduces the
analysis, design, implementing, and management of application systems. The
course introduces know-how and consideration to manage network systems utilizing
Open Source Software. The workshop introduces an application developing project
in Open Source Software (LAMP) environment, (note LAMP-Linux, Apache, MySQL,
PHP)
Open Source Software Solution Integration
Course (OSS)
This course is designed to train IT engineers (system analysts, system designers)
who needs to:
1) know what standards are available to inter-connect systems easily;
2) what open source software development packages are commonly used; and
3) integrate an open source software architecture to provide solutions
The aim of this course is to explain the various technical infrastructures,
types of standards available and the integration between vendor and open source
software. The course can be divided into an explanation for the standards
available for data exchange between server to server and client to server.
It also shows the application of the eXtreme Programming analysis and design
methodologies. The Apache server and MySQL is used as a platform for the development.
The programming language framework comprises php4. It shows how to create
web services using vendor based frameworks like Microsoft dotnet and open
source software.
